ZT 0200 - Zero Tolerance 0350- Tactical Response Knife – Value For Money

If you compile a list of things imperative for survival, chances are knives would feature somewhere near in the top of the list. Maybe, that is why, making a knife like the ZT 0200 - Zero Tolerance 0350 is also an art. Not everyone gets it right. The perfect knife seems to be an elusive thing.  

But KAI has managed to break that notion with the ZT 0200.

Features:

1. It has been voted as the best "police" knife by the Technical Editor of the Tactical Response, Mick Williams. 
2. Designed by Ken Onion, the steel used in these knives, manufactured inUSA, is the best available. 
3. This steel is the same used to build blades for jet turbine engines. 
4. Even though there are harder, tougher blades available, they belong to a different, higher price range while ZT0200, priced between $150 and $200, is value for money.
   
5. The Zero Tolerance 0200 is made of 154CM steel having a Tungsten DLC coating and the handle is a 3D machined, G-10 one done in matte black. 
6. The blade is 9.8 cm long. 
7. The overall length is 8.75 inches while the closed length runs for about 5.25 inches. Also, at 7.7 oz, the knife is much lighter than others.

Pros:

• There are just so many advantages with this knife. The first one is the price. As already iterated before, its value for money. 
• The alligator - scale - like texture of its handle makes it easy to hold and offers firm grip. 
• Its blade has been made to withstand some of the hardest chores such as battening, prying and even pounding. 
• Also, it is not an assisted-opening knife, which gives it a fast opening.

Cons:

• However, its pocket clip fails sometimes. 
• It is too short and dysfunctional. It tends to eat into your pockets. 
• So one also has to buy pocket sheaths to carry it around. 
• This shortcoming can be easily overlooked as this knife is very handy and multi functional. 
• A must have for one and all for self protection.
